The Boys

Arizona was a great vacation. The boys were outside the whole time it seemed. We were always doing something outside, whether it was going to a park (we found a great one with a mini train and carousel--Jack loved it), going swimming, picking oranges, going on walks, going to the zoo. It was fantastic. Here's the boys at the end of the day by the pool.

Tiny Dancer

Lately Jack has really turned into the little dancer. Mommy always turns on country and dances with him. We were in Arizona visiting the grandparents when grandma turned on Stevie Wonder. I started snapping my fingers and the only way he could immitate it was to click his tongue. So his dancing consists of running circles, arms flailing and tongue clicking away until he wants to dance with mommy, then it's "Spin and Dip, Mommy." I'll dance with him any day.

Jack Attack

Of course we're good parents. Jack just seems to get the sugar rush from suckers immediately and then starts running around. Here's one of those moments. What a little stud. He loves basketball right now. He loves playing it himself and watching daddy and mommy play. Basketball is new for me (Alicia) but I have a great coach and fan all in one...Seth. I figure if I'm coaching the YW in basketball I should learn how to play. I'm actually really starting to like it, and I'm working on getting better. Hey I can't be the tallest person on the court and completely useless. Back to Jack, he's talking better and better and turning into a little mimic. Anything mommy does, more so daddy, Jack immitates, either acts out, says, or does. It cracks me up when I'm on the phone and he'll go grab one of his play phones, come sit next to me, and then say the last three words of the last sentence I said. He's definitely entertaining.

Proud "Papa"

It's a grandpa thing. No matter if it's Papa Wolfert or Papa Thompson our little boys are greatly loved. Here's Ty and Papa Thompson in Arizona. Our little boys love their daddy and their papa's...and let's face it, their mamma's boys too. How fantastic to be so loved.

Our lil' Slugger

Holidays in Arizona were nice and warm, but most of us were under the weather the whole time. But we were still happy and enjoyed being with family. Here's Ty propped up by himself smiling like he usually does. He's such a happy enjoyable little baby. At 2 months Ty weighed 15.6 lbs and was 24 inches. What a big beautiful blue eyed boy.

White Christmas

We had a fantastic Christmas this year in Utah with the Wolfert family. Jack loved playing in the snow, and there was plenty of it. We were making a snow fort in the backyard with Tess and Drew. Jack was a great little helper packing the snow for the snow fort and then he found the swing. He was there for the next half hour and loving it.

Terrific Two

Happy Birthday Jack. November 21st we celebrated Jack's 2nd birthday. Daddy brought home silly string, party hats, and whistles. Jack was a lucky little boy as usual with his grandparents going all out. Mommy's parents got him a luxury tricycle, and Daddy's parents got him a little bike with training wheels. All we had to to was provide the cupcakes and candles. Although mommy did finally finish Jack's baby quilt for his 2nd birthday. Yeah...I'm on top of things. Mommy and Jack enjoying the cupcakes.
